Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Air Safaris from Mombasa, Diani, Malindi to Mara
You will be picked from hotel of stay and be transferred to nearest Airstrip or airport on a scheduled flight to Masai Mara arriving after about 2 hours. You will meet safari driver / guide from lodge or camp and begin a game drive en route to your Masai Mara safari lodge or camp with a 4X4 jeep for check in and lunch. Relax till 4.00 pm where you will proceed for another game drive in the Masai Mara until sunset.
Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the famous and most visited national reserves in Kenya. Physical attractions include Mara River, Talek River, Loita Hills, Serengeti plains and the annual wild beast migration during July to September. The landscape is woodland and grassland savannah with acacia forests. Masai Mara is famous for lions, elephants, leopards, cheetah, gazelles, rhinos, hyenas among others. It’s also attractive for bird watchers. Dinner and overnight at your Masai Mara safari lodge or camp.
Day 3 : Masai Mara safari - Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Game viewing extravaganza! Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural habitat .It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities. You shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as you watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October).
Day 3 : Mara air safari to Diani, Malind, Mombasa
Wake up at around 5.30 am for a cup of coffee followed by an early morning game drive and back to the camp for a full breakfast. After breakfast, proceed for another game drive and back for an early lunch at around 11.30 am. You will be transferred to the airstrip and depart at 1.30 pm to Diani arriving at around 4.00 pm.
