Day 01 :

Nairobi to Maasai Mara (250kms - 5 hours drive)

Your Driver-Guide reports to your hotel for start of the safari to Masai Mara with a 7.30am to 8am departure for a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Maasai Mara, Kenya's famous game reserve. ( Drive time 5.5 hours). You will be in a private safari vehicle. Stop for some time at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint on the way, to enjoy the amazing views of the largest Valley in the world, said to be visible from outer space. Arrive at Masai Mara for lunch at your lodge or camp. The afternoon game drive at 3.30pm allows spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest.

Day 02 :

Maasai Mara Safari

At around 7:00a.m after breakfast, you will leave for a full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. At midday, You will have picnic lunch in the park which is provided by us. You will visit the site of the yearly wildebeest migration and see the resident crocodiles and hippos sited at the banks of Mara river. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place; the phenomenal seventh wonder of the world. The wildebeest migration where over 1.5 million animals migrate annually from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Day 03 :

Maasai Mara - Nairobi (250kms - 5 hours drive)

Early morning breakfast then check out for your drive back to Nairobi.

Optional (at extra cost) : Enjoy a brief stop at the Maasai Village for cultural encounter on your way ($25 per person)- Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people as you exit Maasai Mara. You can also choose to go on a Hot Air Balloon ride ($450 per person). Thereafter commence your drive to Nairobi.

A simple complimentary lunch will be provided on the way in a traveler's motel. On arrival you will be dropped at around 3pm at Nairobi City Centre.
