Escape into the remote beauty of Meru National Park, a pristine wilderness of rivers, doum palms and rolling savannah. This three-day safari offers intimate wildlife encounters, scenic landscapes and a tranquil atmosphere far from the crowds.

Your safari begins with a professional pickup from your hotel, residence or the airport. After a briefing, depart via the central highlands, passing scenic farmlands and views of Mount Kenya (weather permitting).

Arrive at your lodge or tented camp inside or near the park and enjoy lunch.

Explore Meru’s diverse ecosystems — open plains, acacia woodland and riverine habitats. Wildlife includes elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras and various antelope species. Lions and leopards inhabit the park, while cheetahs may be seen in open areas.
The park’s numerous rivers attract wildlife, especially during the dry season, making for rewarding photographic opportunities.

Set out early when wildlife is most active. The cool morning hours provide excellent chances to observe predators and grazing herbivores.
Meru is particularly known for rare northern species such as Grevy’s zebra and the beautifully patterned reticulated giraffe. Elephants roam freely, often crossing riverbanks, while hippos and crocodiles occupy the waterways.
Return to the lodge for breakfast.
