This three-day safari explores two of Kenya’s most spectacular and contrasting wildlife destinations: Tsavo West National Park and Amboseli National Park.

Tsavo West is a landscape of raw natural beauty, shaped by ancient volcanic activity and dotted with acacia woodlands, lava fields and lush natural springs. The park is home to an extraordinary range of wildlife including elephants, lions, buffalo and elusive leopards. Highlights include the crystal-clear pools of Mzima Springs, the dramatic black lava of Shetani Lava Flow, and the protected Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, where endangered black rhinos are carefully conserved.

The journey continues to Amboseli National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic safari landscapes. Here, enormous elephant herds roam across open savannah plains framed by the snow-capped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, creating some of the most breathtaking wildlife photography opportunities on the continent.

Day 01 :

Kenya Coast – Tsavo West National Park

Distance: 200–300 km (depending on pickup location)
Drive Time: 4–6 hours

05:30 a.m. - 07:00 a.m. | Pickup from Coastal Hotel

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your beach hotel or residence in Mombasa, Diani, Malindi, Kilifi or Watamu. As the sun rises over the Indian Ocean coastline, depart inland via the Mombasa–Nairobi highway and travel through changing landscapes of sisal plantations, rural villages and rolling countryside.

By late morning, the red soils and volcanic hills of Tsavo West National Park begin to appear on the horizon.

Entering the park through Tsavo River Gate, your first game drive begins immediately as you journey deeper into this dramatic wilderness.

Wildlife commonly observed in the park includes:

-Large elephant herds moving through acacia woodland
-Buffalo and giraffes grazing across open plains
-Zebras and various antelope species including impala and waterbuck
-Lions and leopards concealed within rocky outcrops and bushland

Return to your lodge for a relaxed evening surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness. Enjoy dinner before retiring for the night at your selected accommodation from the options below.

Day 02 :

Tsavo West – Amboseli National Park

Distance: Approx. 120 km
Drive Time: 3–4 hours

06:30 a.m. - 08:30 a.m. | Sunrise Game Drive and Breakfast
Begin the day with an early morning game drive as the African wilderness awakens. This is one of the best times to observe wildlife as predators return from night hunts and herbivores gather in the cool morning air.

Wildlife commonly observed in the park includes:
-Elephants and buffalo grazing across open plains
-Giraffes browsing from tall acacia trees
-Zebras and antelope moving in small herds
-Lions and hyenas occasionally returning to shaded resting areas

Return to the lodge for breakfast before continuing the safari.

09:30 a.m. | Scenic Drive Towards Amboseli
Depart Tsavo West and journey north towards Amboseli National Park, travelling through the scenic landscapes of southern Kenya. Along the way, the terrain gradually opens into wide savannah plains and Maasai grazing lands where traditional pastoral life continues much as it has for centuries.
As you approach Amboseli, the immense snow-capped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro often appears rising above the horizon — an unforgettable first glimpse of Africa’s highest mountain.

12:30 p.m. | Arrival and Lunch
Arrive at your lodge in Amboseli and enjoy lunch while taking in views of the surrounding plains and the distant Kilimanjaro skyline when weather conditions allow.

03:30 p.m. - 06:30 p.m. | Afternoon Game Drive
The afternoon safari explores Amboseli’s famous wildlife habitats including open savannah plains, seasonal marshes and acacia woodland.

Wildlife commonly observed in the park includes:
-Large elephant herds often walking in front of Mount Kilimanjaro
-Lions resting in shaded grasslands
-Buffalo and zebras grazing across open plains
-Wildebeests and antelope moving in large groups

Return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening under the African night sky.

Day 03 :

Amboseli – Nairobi

Distance: Approx. 240 km
Drive Time: 4–5 hours

06:30 a.m. - 07:30 a.m. | Breakfast at the Lodge
Enjoy breakfast while overlooking the Amboseli plains as the early morning light illuminates Mount Kilimanjaro.

08:00 a.m. | Check-Out and Departure
Optional short morning game drive before exiting the park. This final wildlife viewing opportunity often reveals elephants, giraffes and zebras moving across the golden savannah.
Depart Amboseli and begin the scenic drive towards Nairobi through the Maasai countryside and open plains of southern Kenya.

01:00 p.m. - 02:00 p.m. | Lunch Stop En-Route

03:00 p.m. - 04:00 p.m. | Arrival in Nairobi
