Early morning pick up from your hotel in Mombasa, Diani, Malindi, Kilifi or Watamu. Drive along the Mombasa - Nairobi highway towards Tsavo West.
Distance: Approx. 200 - 250 km
Drive Time: 4 - 5 hours
Enter the park and begin your game drive en route to the lodge.
Tsavo West is characterised by rolling hills, volcanic lava flows and natural springs. Wildlife commonly encountered includes elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, crocodiles and hippos.
Visit Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters allow excellent viewing of aquatic life from the observation point.

The open plains and seasonal wetlands support lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes and numerous plains game species. Amboseli’s relatively sparse vegetation enhances wildlife visibility, offering excellent photographic opportunities.
