Kilimanjaro Elephants, Rhino Territory and Exclusive Conservancy Experience
Overview
This itinerary explores three contrasting ecosystems within southern Kenya: Amboseli National Park, Tsavo West National Park & Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.
Amboseli National Park is internationally celebrated for its large free-ranging elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. It supports four of the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo – with elephants being the park’s defining highlight.
Tsavo West National Park offers rugged terrain, volcanic features and dense bushland. It is one of the few parks in Kenya where the full Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhinoceros – can be found, particularly within the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary.
Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary provides a more intimate safari experience within a private conservancy. It supports four of the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo – and allows optional night game drives, offering opportunities to observe nocturnal wildlife activity.
Together, these destinations deliver scenic diversity, varied wildlife density and a refined conservancy finish before continuing to the coast.
