Itinerary
Following a morning pick-up from your Arusha lodge, your experienced guide will brief you on the day's adventure. Embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds.
The park's namesake, the Tarangire River, serves as a lifeline, attracting a multitude of wildlife, especially during the dry season. Keep your eyes peeled for the iconic baobab trees, aptly nicknamed "trees of life," that dot the landscape, adding to Tarangire's unique charm.
Upon arrival, embark on a captivating game drive, searching for an array of wildlife, including graceful giraffes, powerful buffaloes, and zebras. Enjoy a delicious lunch amidst the park's scenic beauty before continuing your afternoon game drive, seeking out more fascinating animals and park highlights.
In the evening, retire to your comfortable lodge in Karatu for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
